PARIVARTTAN 

PARIVARTTAN’s began its journey in the year 1993 -94 from a remote Adivasi village Darlabeda in cut off area of Jadambo Gram Panchayat of Kudumulugumma block of the Malkangiri District.  The journey began from scratch such as formation of SHGs and running adult literacy programme in Jadambo GP and now the PARIVARTTAN has reach to this height and currently working across the district directly and indirectly as well as through networking of NGO partner’s under different project and programme focusing on – 

Legal Status:

Registered under 1860 Act on 28th August 1993, Foreign Contribution Regulation Act 1976 in 2002.  It is also registered under Income Tax and 80G obtained its registration number 12AA (2)-Act-1961-01-19-10-2006/07 and 11AA-Act-1962-80G-114-13-12-07

Objectives:

  • To adopt on integrated approach to help the rural people in mobilizing for self-sustained development.
  • To improve the economic conditions of the target group through sustainable utilization of existing skills and resources.
  • To restore forest, land quality and water, ensuring sustainable livelihood.
  • To develop a people forum for access and control over natural resources and skill up-gradation.
  • To emphasize on relevant actions for development of women and children belonging to the unprivileged group.
  • To bring awareness among the target group of tribal and other under developed groups for eradication of child labours and protection of child rights.

  • Involve the communities in planning and implementation and Monitoring, Evaluation of the programs.
  • Formation and strengthening of community based/people organization.
  • Restoration of best traditional practice and natural resources.
  •  Promotion of sustainable livelihood option.
  •  Cooperative& Farmer Producer Company towards bankable, processing, value addition and marketing.
  •  Strengthening of PRIs towards effective implementation of PESA.
  •  Improving basic health and education through community and government collaboration.
  • Promotion and protection of child right.
